Haven’t heard of the Lacoste Legends project? Heard about about and looking for information? We have all the information to keep you well informed on this very special very exclusive sneaker project coming from Lacoste. Thats right, the brand that is known mostly for its polo shirt made of petit pique cotton and deeply rooted tennis heritage through Rene Lacoste is presenting a special sneaker collection. A collection called Lacoste Legends. Whats special about the Lacoste Legends project is that lacoste is working with 12 collaborators hailing from different backgrounds. Thats right Lacoste is using the Legend project to bring together music media, design and retail to make a collection of 12 shoes. The 12 collaborators are Jazzie B, Sebastien Tellier, Stones Throw, ato, Christophe lemaire, Tim Hamilton, Sneaker Freaker, i-D, Shoes Master, Bodega, D-Mop, and Collete. The 12 shoe designs will all share one very important detail to the brand. Each shoe will have a tongue made of the same petit pique cotton as the fame L.12.12 polo shirt originally desgined by rene Lacoste. ach will have a woven Lacoste branded tab with a mother of pearl button. While we do not have any images of any of the shoes as of yet we can tell you that the release date for the entire collection is december 12th. On July 14th at the Stadtbad Oderberger in Berlin Lacoste launched the Legends project with a glamorous party. No other way to launch such a special project for the brand. With the collaborators in the house, Lacoste launched the Legends project in great style and taste as over 500 people joined in on the party. We aren’t just gonna tell you about the launch though.
