The House did some ingenious shit yesterday and attached the Obama Tax Cuts to an already passed the Senate Aviation Funding bill in order to get around Republican objections. That means that the Republicans couldn’t force them to add the additional tax cuts for income over $250k onto the bill. Understand that the Obama plan is a tax cut for everyone on their first $250 k of income and the Republicans are blocking it until they get their bonus tax cuts for the richest among us on top of this. So basically they are saying “Fuck You” to the middle class until they get their extra shit for themselves and their rich masters. This now goes back to the Senate where they will vote on it tomorrow. If Harry Reid can somehow manage to pull this off it will provide Democrats and Obama with a huge political victory during the lame duck session before the Republicans take over the House next year and also save us $700 Billion that the Republicans want to give to the billionaires who basically fucked up the whole economic system and are now trying to get us to pay for it.
Also polls suggest that Americans are behind Obama and the Dems but they need to fight for it.
