Grammy Predictions

So ladies and Gents, the Grammy awards are right around the corner so it’s time that we give our humble and very unbias opinion on who the winners will be lol. Well the list is a little too long for me to go through all the categories we’re just going to pick the most important ones…in our opinion that is. Don’t think these are the important ones, well… ::violins::

Record of the Year
“Love the Way You Lie” – Eminem & Rihanna
* This was one of the biggest records of 2010 and is a stand out record for both artist. Eminem and Rihanna have this one in the bag. Easily!

Album of the Year
The Fame Monster – Lady Gaga
* This album produced hit after hit for GaGa. The Fame Monster was full of catchy and quality songs.

Song of the Year
“Love The Way You Lie” – Eminem featuring Rihanna
* Seven weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Enough said.

Best New Artist
Drake
* He raps and he sings and does a great job delivering hits that show it.

Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
“Halo” (Live) – Beyonce’
* This song really showcases Beyonce’ at her best vocal abilities.

Best Male Pop Vocal Performance
“Just The Way You Are” – Bruno Mars
* The lyrics and beat of this song are so infectious. He is an amazing artist. Why wasn’t he nominated for best new artist? lol

Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals
“Airplanes, Part II” – B.o.B, Eminem & Hayley Williams
* This song is so amazing and then the rappers on it are some of the best in the game. Hayley’s vocals were icing on the cake.

Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals
“California Gurls” – Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg
* This collaboration was a bit surprising, but a solid one.

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration
“Empire State of Mind” – Jay-Z & Alicia Keys
*This song was so infectious. You couldn’t help but sing along with Alicia and try to spit with Jay.

Best Rap Solo Performance
“Not Afraid” – Eminem
*As I said before this is Eminem’s awards show. I will be surprised if he doesn’t win every award he’s up for.

Best Rap Song
“Love The Way You Lie” – Eminem ft Rihanna
*This may have the crowning song of Em’s come back. Just listening to this song and knowing his past you can tell this song was made with a lot of pain, love and regret. From what Rihanna went through last year as well she was perfect for this song.

Best Rap Album
“The Blueprint 3” – Jay-Z
*Eminem may win this award also but I really think Jay will pull this on out. There are still some songs on Em’s album that I would skip over not a lot but a couple but on The Blueprint 3, it gets played from beginning to end.

Best Female R&B Vocal Performance
“Everything To Me” – Monica
*Another artist that made a great come back with an amazing song and album.

Best Male R&B Vocal Performance
“There Goes My Baby” – Usher
*And once again another artist that make a come back from a disappointing album. Usher came back out and made sure all these young singers (Chris Brown, lol) know that theirs still his son’s lol

Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocals
“Solider Of Love” – Sade
*Sade is a group? When did this happen?? Either way there’s no competition :Fabolous voice:

Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance
“Hang On In There” – John Legend & The Roots
*Have you heard this album? It’s amazing and should be in your daily rotation.

Best Urban/Alternative Performance
“F*** You” – Cee-Lo Green
*This one is just a straight up bias pick on my part lol. Just love this song. Bitter man song of 2010 lol.

Best R&B Song
“Shine” – John Legend & The Roots
*Once again, amazing album and a must have.

Best R&B Album
“Wake Up!” – John Legend & The Roots
*This one was a toss up for me between this album and Monica’s Still Standing. But in the end I think having The Roots and John Legend together takes home the award.

Best Comtemporary R&B Album
“Raymond v Raymond” – Usher
*Continuing this years trend of come back artist, Mr. Raymond will walk away with this award.
