About Us
We started this site in order to share what our muses are that allowed us to be who we are coming from urban and hip hop culture backgrounds, but we wanted to take it a step further. We want to reach outside of just hip hop culture and share want influences our lives from pop culture and high society. We didn’t want to make just another Hip-Hop site because our lives are made up of more than just Hip-hop. We wanted to indulge in all things that shape us as well as others.
The idea came about after we were discussing how 90’s Hip-Hop is what still drives us to listen to Rap music even though that sound would never come back. That discussion went on to talk about how certain songs and albums define or was the soundtrack to major moments in our young lives and helped to shape the people we are now. Those songs and albums along with movies, TV shows, and fashion are the basic foundation of whom we are and who we continue to be. Those are the muses of our lives.
So we took the Greek word muse and wanted to use it according to what we see fit. Like our own muses; Music, Art, Fashion, Entertainment. We also wanted to give our audience a chance to live their own muses out through our site.
